Green Birthday: Gifts that Grow…..

Every birthday is a celebration of life. Another year added, but, have you stopped to think deeply about it. What every second of breath means, what every minute offers and what every hour produces. 47 years of existence has not only brought wisdom on one man, Reverend Stanley Hwindingwi, but also an appreciation of the value of life. Being called to be the shepherd of lives in the United Methodist Church, Reverend Hwindingwi has said each year added is a greater opportunity to nurture lives.

Moved by his deep rooted appreciation of life, and love for nurture Environmental Buddies Zimbabwe made Reverend Hwindingwi’s 47th, a birthday to reckon.

Environmental Buddies Zimbabwe together with congregants Mutsago United Methodist Church planted 47 trees, for the Reverend’s 47 years of life. The Reverend together with his flock can now reduce their carbon footprint by nurturing the 47 trees.

21 years of serving in the Ministry, Reverend Hwindingwi has made his footprint as a shepherd of lives and an example of love. Love for life, nature and those around him that will stand to benefit from the 47 trees, even many years from now.
